Process(ed) Food, Designing Education with Dough
I am a designer, but also a cook. I find that in my own daily practice the two often overlap and inform each other. For my capstone, I wanted to design a means of sharing my passions for food and making with others. I see food as a material. A recipe is a design project. Process(ed) Food translates this idea into a series of workshops for kids about bringing design and making into the kitchen. I designed a curricula, along with a cast of characters and supporting materials to help introduce creativity in the kitchen.
A complete book documenting this project can be seen here.
